With its production waste recycler Maier has introduced a method to process waste suitable for thermal applications so that it can be sucked off, fed to the combustion process, stored or pelleted. The production waste recycler can be used in plants with large quantities of waste materials, such as lining paper, cardboard, wood or other separable substances and where disposal and recycling of such waste is an issue.
The economic benefits of the recycler are quite obvious: Waste can directly be collected and fed to the recycler using hoist equipment. Waste can be incinerated directly upon collection rather than being stored at an extra cost. Additionally, the incinerated waste will contribute to cover a plant’s own energy demand, i.e. there will be no need to purchase third-party energy to generate power, steam or heat. . . .
The reduction unit is an enclosed assembly, mounted completely on a base frame and wired up ready for operation. Only the connection of the material suction system and the electric system must be effected on site before starting the machine.
With the first system running in a large particle board factory the cost savings promised by Maier have already been achieved; also, the system has led to a cleaner environment in the factory.
